Clover Hill Farm

We designed the farm as an inspiring destination and venue, to serve as lodging for events, get-away writer’s weekends, and holiday parties. When our client purchased this estate from artist Camomile Hixon, there were elements he loved and wanted to keep, but wanted his personal and opposing style to be front and center. After identifying what should stay, we planned spaces to be more client-centric but public-facing, pulling from his collection and acquiring new pieces to complete the spaces in the main house and one-bedroom pool house. Guests love the that each of the eight bedrooms has distinct personalities: one of our favorite spaces is what we call the “Sweet Room”: using his grandmother’s twin bed furniture set as the impetus, we created a super-cute guest bedroom tucked away in the attic, right next to the “dog room” which features the client’s grandmother’s charcoal dog portraits.
